Jebel Burdah Arch

 Burdah Rock Bridge is a popular destination for tourists who wish to challenge themselves just a little bit more. This climb is rated as a Grade 3 scramble, but it can be done without ropes and abseils. I will guide you along the fairly basic route up and down. I am not saying it is not a challenge, but you do not have to be an experienced climber to tackle this mountain. As long as you are in shape and have endurance you will be greatly rewarded!
(Sorry for any inconvenience, but I will not take children under the age of 13 on this climb.)

The drive to Jebel Burdah is about a half hour from Rum Village. First, I will take you to a scenic overlook, where you can view the magnificent mountain you are about to climb, and see the arch, which looks very small from below!

The ascent and descent from Burdah takes about 4+ hours, depending on your ability and speed. After our descent, we will relax in the shade of the mountain you just conquered while we eat our lunch and drink tea. After lunch and a rest, I will drive you to our campsite.
